Health1st Massage-Family

Gentle & Effective Therapy for Babies and Children
As a qualified infant and pediatric FDM and visceral therapist, I offer specialised manual therapy to support your child’s healthy development, movement, and overall well-being.
Many babies experience challenges such as delayed milestones, restricted movement, discomfort in certain positions, difficulty with tummy time, or poor posture. These subtle signs can indicate underlying tension or imbalance that may benefit from early therapeutic support.
Using gentle, hands-on FDM and visceral techniques, I help release restrictions, improve mobility, and support your child’s natural ability to grow, move, and thrive. My treatments are always safe, non-invasive, and tailored to your baby’s or child’s individual needs.
I also work with common concerns like colic, reflux, and umbilical hernias, providing a holistic approach to your child’s comfort and development.
Let’s work together to give your little one the best possible start in life.

My mission
My name is Dora Szegedi
"I listen because I know what it feels like to be unheard."
At Health1st Family, listening with passion and empathy is the foundation of care. As a mother, manual therapist, and daughter of deaf parents, I understand the power of being truly heard. I practice global listening-considering the body, soul, parental well-being, pregnancy and birth experiences, and the wisdom of both Eastern and Western medicine. Through this holistic approach, I honour each family's unique needs and the deep intuition mothers have for their children. Because healing isn't just about treatment-it's about understanding.

What Is Pediatric FDM Therapy?
Get to Know Us
Pediatric FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) therapy is a gentle manual therapy approach that focuses on releasing restrictions in your baby’s connective tissue system, called fascia. These restrictions can affect how a baby moves, feels, feeds, and develops.
During pregnancy or birth, babies can experience strain or compression that may lead to fascial tension. This can result in discomfort, difficulty with tummy time, poor sleep, unsettled behaviour, feeding issues, or delays in motor development like rolling, crawling, or sitting.
FDM therapy aims to gently identify and release these restrictions to support healthy movement, improve comfort, and help your child reach their developmental milestones with more ease. It can also benefit babies with colic, reflux, constipation, or posture issues, as well as children showing signs of movement asymmetry, tip-toeing, or poor coordination.
As a qualified infant and pediatric FDM and visceral therapist, I tailor each session to your child’s unique needs—offering a safe, non-invasive, and effective therapy that supports their natural growth and well-being.
